Meet Turnip Media founder,

Hilary McNevin

Hilary McNevin

Hilary McNevin worked in hospitality for 15 years before before becoming a Melbourne-based freelance food writer. She has contributed to Goodfood.com.au, The Age, The Guardian, Delicious Magazine, The Weekly Review, SBS Food Online, The Australian, Winestate magazine and Broadsheet.com.au.

Hilary co-authored The Atlantic at Home with chef Donovan Cooke, wrote Guide to Fish: Choosing and Cooking Sustainable Species, edited the award-winning Temples of BBQ by Lance Rosen and was the Australian contributor of the book 1001 Restaurants You Must Experience Before You Die.

Hilary founded Turnip Media in early 2018 to work with food and drinks businesses, restaurants, retailers, producers, suppliers and purveyors to help them tell their stories through digital platforms.

She creates content with her clients, develops brand voice, nurtures and maintains media connections and designs collaborations and events.
